Question How good are airlines flying in South Africa?

We're flying to CPT with UA for a cruise out of Cape Town. After that we'd like to fly CPT-JNB to go to Kruger national park, before returning to Toronto.

When searching for CPT-JNB flights, South African airways is not listed at all in expedia, and no redemption seats for Jan/2023. Did something happen to SAA?

There are flights with Airlinks, Hahn/Flysafair, and Cemair. How are they (saw some issues with Cemair some years ago)?
