Data point: Same experience - i transferred on Monday expecting instant as usual, and the points didnt correctly show for a bit (showed up initially when i logged into US site and suddenly disappeared when it transferred me to the canada site to complete the aeroplan booking). It is now Wednesday (about 36 hours after transfer) and they are suddenly showing up and letting me complete my booking. In my case the (first) names on the MR and Aeroplan account do not match.
