There was a fairly widespread offer of 500 points per Club Access award in late 2021 / early 2022, but only for Globalists for whom the awards are useless. The ones I managed to exchange for points were COVID-extended ones from 2019/20, which may have played into Hyatt´s generosity.

Never heard of compensation for unused suite awards.
