I'm flying DXB-FRA in a few days on LH in Premium Economy. Have tried to upgrade using points on SK's website but have been told that no business seats were available (Business was bookable on lh.com). Just not it worked and once I confirmed the upgrade I was instantly deducted 30.000 points from my Eurobonus account for a Star Alliance upgrade. All good.
However, I have not received any confirmation e-mail (it's been a couple of hours) and on lh.com I see no change to my booking.
Anyone that has any experience with this?
Had that happen to me, upgrade said it was successful, points were deducted but didn't actually get upgraded. Had to fight with SK points dept to get them refunded.
Trying again today on a new booking with a segment on LX. Confirmed I space on the LX leg, SK site says the upgrade says it will work, but the SAUA fails with code -103 after deducting the points. Currently on hold with SK trying to get it sorted.
