For a hub, especially an alledged gateway, it should be improved. I guess I'm use to so it doesn't bother me, but it is shame that Dulles can't make better improvements on the terminal.

20 years or so is not a bad life span for a temporary terminal. Plans are to replace terminal C/D,
BUT the bad news - New Concourse C is defined as a Future Project with no start or end dates. From Dulles' web site:

My guess is that a new Concourse C will not be a reality until well after 2010. The good news though, for those of us originating travel at Dulles (which right now I avoid like the plague), is that the main terminal and security area contruction is scheduled to be completed sometime in 2005.
