I transferred 100,000 AMEX points to Aeroplan today, then another 13,0000, and although it's instantly showing in my activities in Aeroplan, it's not updating the balance. I suspect as others have stated it may take 24 hours to update the balance. I tried booking a flight but the points I transferred are not made available for use.
