Hi all,

I have a mileage ticket flight from MCO - IAD, DCA-SFO on Jan 6 (6-7 hour layover and I have to go from IAD to DCA). I was thinking that maybe I could go talk to the United travel desk upon arrival at IAD, and ask them if they could put me on earlier flight from IAD, rather than the 6pm flight out of DCA. I wouldn't mind trying to go standby on an earlier flight out of IAD too.

Does anyone have experience / thoughts on this approach? Thanks
