Note, perhaps due to the busy holiday season, the shuttle was running every 30 mins. Departs hotel every :15 and :45 of the hour with first shuttle leaving 45 mins before park opens. Leaves Disneyland every :00 and :30 of the hour with last shuttle leaving 1 hour after park closing. No shuttle service from 11:45am - 12:15pm and 7:45pm - 8:15pm.

You're right, I was thinking of another Hyatt I was taking a shuttle from recently. HR OC does run every 30 minutes normally.
First time I stayed here in 2021 they gave me free shuttle passes "because I'm a globalist". The second time I stayed, a few months ago, I asked about free shuttle passes for globalists and they looked at me like I was an alien. I confirmed with front desk manager via email that this is not a globalist perk. I saw someone flash what looked like the same shuttle pass I had the first time, so maybe they only gave it to me as a minor service recovery because I had to wait 5 whole minutes at check-in.
