Have you calculated the monetary value per point in US cents for these numbers because this figure will answer your question. As you know, most online sources value Bonvoy points at around 0.9c per point IIRC so anything above that is a "deal" and anything below that isn't. In general, Malaysia is a poor country to redeem points because of the low cost of the hotels anyway. You're probably better off redeeming them in Singapore where cash rates have been astronomical lately while the points have stayed the same.
