I like bourbon but I am in the camp of bourbon not being a good fit for coffee (I think it really clashes tastewise) so even a cream version is not going make it much better so its not at all a good replacement for Baileys if the purpose is to use for coffee. Irish Whiskey is naturally a better fit for coffee than bourbon or rye for whatever reason. Personally I think Amaretto is the best to combine with coffee. Grand Marnier works well with a latte or cappuccino, less so black coffee.
