Can you re-route the return segment of a BA Avios redemption ticket? My parents have flown the outbound of a LHR-MIA-LHR ticket and wish to change the return. There is no availability for MIA-LHR but there is for TPA-LHR, MCO-LGW or ATL-LHR. Could they switch their return to one of these gateways?
Once the outbound flight of a reward booking has been flown you cannot cancel the return sector. However BA do now allow you to change it to another date with Avios availability. MIA, MCO and TPA are in the same zone but I honestly do not know if a change of airport is allowed. Call BA and ask.
