I put in a CEDR claim a week ago and found it a really straightforward process.

In my case it was a missed connection on a GLA-LHR-VCE itinerary that resulted in an overnight in LON. We arrived in enough time to make the connection - arrived by gate at -55 - then there was no stand and then groundstaff. Flight was delayed from GLA by an hour too. Announcement was made on landing that everyone was making their connection and I was in 1A.

I do wonder if BA is struggling with these type of claims. IE where it's only connecting passengers who would be eligible these get lost in the system. Then on flights where everyone is eligible they automatically pay.

It also really doesn't help that it's nigh on impossible to speak to anyone at BA these days.

Hopefully the CEDR will prompt a response from them but that in my eyes is not the point of it
