Looking for feedback on Premium class SEA-RSW

I will be taking my first Alaska flight since 2007, cross country from Seattle to Fort Myers in Feb, I think I got a pretty good deal at $179 for a O/W main cabin fare (not saver). I'm being offered an upgrade to premium class for $137, it sounds tempting but struggling to decide to pay almost the same price I paid for the ticket for just an extra 4 inches of legroom. Conscious it's also a 5 and a half hour flight (so 6+ hours in the plane for sure). It is also my understanding no extra food is being served on these long flights. I'm 6 feet 1 so not short but I hear legroom in regular economy isn't bad.

Any first hand experiences with the above parameters? Is there a chance the upgrade amount will decrease as we get closer to the date of departure?

Thank you
