Does anyone know or been able to apply Guest of Honor benefits to a Secrets or other AMR collection property?

I have a booking for 2 rooms at Secrets Akumal, checking in on the 4th and had put one of the rooms in my sisters name at "Guest of Honor" but after talking to the resort this morning they do not have any benefits.
I have reached out to my concierge, who might be out office today, and trying to confirm if AMR resorts are excluded. If they are I am going to see if any chance using a Club or Suite upgrade and put the reservation back in my name. I don't really care too much about room ugprade as the resort looks fairly sold out but I wanted to make sure we can all use the Preferred Lounge and breakfast restaurant so would not have to go to the buffet. *I have been to 4 Secrets properties since they joined Hyatt (Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, & Costa Rica). These have been some of the greatest point redemption stays I've ever had. We love Secrets Akumal the most so far.
