Surprised that I was not offered a “Buy Up” to MVP as before.
Allowing you to regain MVP status by only flying 5,000 miles (effectively one round-trip transcon or Hawaii trip) by April 13th is essentially the same as a buy up....personally I think it's a better deal than a buy-up.
