Looking at sgopal 's sheet... it seems north of $70k should be a decent chance of getting GS.
Starting to think I am crazing giving the bulk of my business to UA.
UA cloaks the GS program in secrecy and mystery so I would not read too much in an offhand remark from a MileagePlus rep. There are likely other factors in play here to which we are not privy. There’s lot of history about the spend needed to qualify and 2022 posed its own unique challenges- Asia shut for almost entire year, business travel curtailed, mask mandates through April, etc. I might be whistling past the graveyard but is it smart for UA not to extend GS to folks who spent north of, say, 50k in 2022? Anything’s possible but my bet is the other way
