I’m flying to KOA on Saturday. Me, EXP. Wife and 2 adult kids, non-status. Currently we are all in MCE exit row seats. I’m tempted to split the PNR and request upgrade for wife and me. I’d just hate for my kids to potentially lose their good seats. It’d be nice if a non-elite, no longer linked to an elite via PNR, could at least get a warning and the opportunity to keep those seats if a swap or shuffle occurs.
