This is something I actually disagree with. It's 15.5h. If I get a "perfect sleep", that's still basically a LHR-YUL (time-wise) that I'll be awake on. There's going to be a time in which I don't want to be disturbed, but realistically, it's likely to be less than half the flight.

The last improvement (towels and nuts) was still pretty recent. It's been a gradual ramp-up back to pre-COVID levels. I think a lot of people drastically underestimate the number of pieces involved to get anything on a flight. If we hit 6 months since the last improvement, my attitude will change. But having flown in July 2020 (where it was a cold box and water), and pretty consistently since then, it's been quite steady (if slow) in returning to pre-COVID levels.

That was the case many years ago too, so it's nothing new. I was shocked on my first NH F flight, departing LAX around midnight, when there was no "meal service". But at least in F, the menu for what I could order at any time was pretty reasonable.
