Since you've calculated that the Amex and CSR basically pay for themselves already, and the primary thing you would be gaining from the Infinite card is lounge access, I would not worry about the overlapping benefits or potentially shifting spending between them, I would simply ask the question, is the benefit of lounge access when you want it for the next year worth the cost of the new annual fee you would be absorbing? If the answer is yes, then get the card and think of it as purchasing a discounted membership to the United Club, nothing more or nothing less. If you want to shift spending around later in the year you can do so (or not), but you don't have to use the card at all to obtain the primary benefit you are seeking. To my mind, there is a value (albeit hard to calculate) to having reliable lounge access, that is greater than the sum of x number of day passes; it sounds like you may think so too, but only you can decide what that's worth to you. Assuming your credit profile can handle it, I don't think there is anything necessarily "irresponsible" about $2000 in annual fees or three cards with overlapping benefits. The real question is whether you are getting your money's worth out of the $2000 you are paying.
