It’s a flight timing issue.

Friday’s BA229 departs LHR at 15:50, arriving 19:15 local (00:15 GMT on Saturday).
Saturday’s BA229 departs LHR at 15:15, arriving 18:40 local (23:40 GMT on Saturday).

2 flights arriving with the same number, on the same date. In the BA ops systems, Saturday is operating as the BA229z, which drives the cancellation and reinstatement.
