IB MAD<>NA on PE earns IB/BA 425/90 = 4.7, you want the 1st ratio as low as possible whilst the second as high as possible, for IB to be better, which it is in this case? Calculated out it's IB/BA (1150/2250/6250)/450 = 39%/19%/7% and (300/600/1500)/90 = 30%/15%/6%. And it's easier (?) to earn TPs on IB from Vueling and Level? We also don't yet know BA's avios earning multipliers?

HNY/FZ all!
Choosing MAD to North America in PE is biasing your analysis towards IB+'s main EP sweetspot. And ignoring the fact that you will earn fewer Avios in most cases by crediting those PE flights to IB+.

And anybody who flies Vueling sufficiently to be contemplating IB+ status has my sympathies...
