The oddest part of this for me is that I actively stopped IHG stays over the summer so that I could wait until Q4 before hitting the 40-night milestone. Even if IHG is relaxed about the two year passes, a policy that pushes people away from IHG stays is very counter-productive.
I wonder how long it will take before they make the Lounge Pass 12-month validity like the CSUs.
