I have to say I agree.
When I fly, I do so with laptops, iPads, headphones, etc. So I have a Samsonite pull along bag for those items. I can just about get a night's stay of fresh clothes and toiletries into it.
However, all too often people seem to bring the biggest case they can onto the plane, and insist on ramming into the overheads.
Prior to my Samsonite, I had more of a laptop bag - and a Macbook with a large dent in the bottom. Ostensibly, this is due to the ramming of bags on an Easyjet flight.
Surely a carry on is a carry on, and cannot mean that two large suitcase size items go in!
