When no luggage was spat out on arrival, we checked the receipt to see it was due on the afternoon flight to LCY. Did the delayed luggage thing, got told it would probably be with us the following Wednesday.
My laptop charger was in the luggage, laptop is dead and I need to use my laptop. Is there any precedent to charging LH for the cost of it? AFAIK you can charge for essentials outbound, but not on the return?
The liability for delayed luggage is the same for outbound & inbound, you just need justification for the claim, send LH the bill for the charger, they will probably offer 50% unless you send it back to them at the local office, they should pay the cost of that also, same goes for anything else you really need before your bag is returned
