AC sent award flight cancelled email...but is it?
AC just sent me a text and an email saying my flights in July on LOT (booked using Aeroplan points) have been cancelled. I clicked through the email and logged into the website; all it was a schedule change. I then used the LOT record locator to go to LOT website and see that the flights exist, as does the ticket. Then I called the AC call center (888-247-2262) listed on the email and the agent just noted the schedule change. I asked if the flights are confirmed? The agent said "not yet, you have to call Aeroplan." Been trying to call Aeroplan at 800-361-5373 and the system keeps booting me out due to high call volumes. I have no status with Aeroplan. What are my options?
