Flying on 1/7 ORD-FRA (UA944). Waitlisted with PP from economy either to PremPlus or Polaris as a 1K (#4 on both lists as of a few days ago).

Flight has been showing P3 or P4 last couple of weeks, but jumped to P7 today (PZ hs been zero, as has been most flights to FRA on that day). 12 open seats in Polaris, 3 open in PremPlus.

Is that a hopeful sign that upgrade might clear before travel?
