New low for me. First flight in UA J TATL in a long time (had to, no other options this time).

The usual: lackluster condescending crew, school cafeteria food.
The extras: wifi out for 5 hours out of 9. it was obvious the system needed a reboot, but when I mentioned that at the beginning, got the lecture on "it usually comes up over the ocean". Gaslighting must be part of the UA FA curriculum.
To add to the excitement of the meals, got a piece of sharp plastic in the ice cream sundae (see photo), fortunately did not swallow it :/

Thank you for your attention. Now back to avoiding UA like the plague they are.



P.S. I pay for my own flights, which adds to the indignity.
