It's been prepandemic since i stayed at IC Lisbon so i can't comment on the upgrade chain .

Upgrade to a bigger room is more important to me than breakfast as if it's more than coffee and fruit for breakfast, I skip lunch. Any experience with cash upgrades on award stays? If it's just a higher floor, not worth it just for that.
