The point of this is not to diss on AA, as they are now my main carrier; but as the poor AA performance of the summer has already been forgotten, so will the 2022 WN Christmas debacle.
How many people are going to forget how Southwest stranded them and their families somewhere for several days -- often without access to their luggage? And all of this happened at Christmastime.
No, this has etched itself into family memories throughout the country, and not in a good way.
