Realistically, you can't put this resort on the same level as the main Hyatt Ziva Cancun (they have dolphins and an ice cream shop!). The Riviera is definitely a step/tier down. However, given that the current cash rates are much more affordable here, depending on your situation this might be suitable.
I mean, Ziva Riviera Cancun has an ice cream shop, too, and I thought that was one of the better parts of this resort. I also thought the dolphins was one of the worst parts of Hyatt Ziva Cancun. A cruel practice for those poor animals.
