You could mail them though to state you+wife are staying, they might throw in free breakfast / offer discounted rate

It's been prepandemic since i stayed at IC Lisbon so i can't comment on the upgrade chain .
I should go back though to my favorite vegetarian Tibetan restaurant close to the hotel
