Not exactly. My bags were in a warehouse outside of LHR and on
WorldTracer, my bag information was wrong. I updated it, called BA and told them about the update and the bag location with the AirTag. The agent asked me to give him more information on the location based on the AirTag, then he recognised the address and called someone, came back and said the bag was found and it was put on a flight to my home airport.
So maybe I was lucky with it, or maybe they knew already (even with the wrong bag tag information on WorldTracer).
