Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue but with Cathay/KE combo. Alaska customer service says there are no seats and therefore error message and that it takes some days for these airlines to update their inventory with Alaska. SO frustrating after being on hold for hours multiple times and scouring their website daily for over a month!
This is happening on Korean, Condor, LATAM and some other partners. Alaska says it is a communication lag so we see seats that are actually no longer available. I'm skeptical.
