Hi evevryone,

Due to this Christmas mess and travel cancellations, I am planning to redeem AS awards as a back up plan in case my other flight gets cancelled last minute.

Understand AS doesn't impose any cancellation fees on award tickets, but does this rule apply for very last minute cancellation? Let's say 8am I realized I could actually check in and take my other flight, would I be able to cancel my 12pm AS flight for free?
