Thanks all for the links above. I was able to use Pluspoints to confirm some LH segments and get waitlisted on others. However there is something else weird going on now. While I can see the full itinerary on the LH site, on the UA site there are some segments missing. These include LH segments that were both confirmed or waitlisted. The ticket is a 016 ticket with the first leg on UA and the next 3 on LH.
Does the ticket need to be reissued?
I've always seen this when LH flights are upgraded on United bookings. Everything just works fine except that you don't see the LH flights in your United itinerary and you have to check the LH one instead. It really freaked me out when I first saw it, but now I'm used to it.
