Last night’s flight 272 was showing a reroute via LAX until about 45 minutes before scheduled departure when it switched to non-stop (presumably BA was able to obtain enough fuel in SAN. Perhaps because SAN’s largest airline, Southwest, canceled most of their SAN departures yesterday). Tonight’s flight is still showing a stop in LAX coupled with a delay based on incoming aircraft leaving LHR an hour late.
Local news reports say crews are working on fixing leaking fuel pipeline and hope to have it back in operation over the weekend.
