I searched for JAL flights+ Star Alliance flights on google flights. Google flights gave me a link ,seems to be AA. Price Business class <7100 CAD. Next step was to enter name and cc etc
However if I search within AA's website booking machine indepently, I can't get that fare nor get that itinerary. and a different itin is offered costing a lot more.
Is it safe to book using the google flights link?

I've never had an issue with it, almost all of my trips are booked there or via ITA Matix. When I do some trips, it often prices it out as a multi-city AAA-BBB and BBB-AAA (aka 2 one ways) vs a round trip, or does multiple fares with the layover city, which saves money. AA won't show you that fare unless you specifically search for the multi-city itinerary.

If you provide more details (dates and flight numbers), I'd be happy to look into exactly what is happening on your specific case.
