One thing I find interesting is that my understanding was that even when the CCR card was around, there was not necessarily a
specific difference in CIV between, say, a 3000TP GGL and a 5000TP CCR card holder, i.e. both would (in most circumstances) have a CIV of 97.
So you might have the situation (perhaps unlikely) where, in a small F cabin, the CCR card holder didn't get their choice of meal and the GGL non-CCR passenger did, simply because they were asked first.
What's my point? I don't know anymore.
But I can attest that I have had a lot of alcohol since Saturday....
