Mrs firstlight is a nervous flyer and likes to hold my hand on takeoff and landing. Even works when we are in window club suites as well as the middle pairs although old CW 1E and 1F is good for this too.

However she does say that the best experience is in 2E and 2F on an A380

Personally on a night flight to CPT if I had to pay for seats I'd save the money on seat selection and spend it on a very nice meal, but each to their own.
