Moderator Note

FlyerTalk will be 25 years old in 2023. I’ve been around since 2001, so I’m getting to be a dinosaur. Through the years, FT has grown and been reinvigorated because of new members with fresh perspectives. For the New Year, perhaps some of the AS forum members could introduce one or two friends, colleagues or like-minded travel aficionados to FT. Do you work with people who also travel? Do you have friends who like to travel? Have you encountered a miles/points junkie on a plane or in a lounge? Do you visit the AS subreddit? Consider mentioning FT.

I recently sat next to a guy who feverishly was checking the AS forum during our flight. I asked him a few questions and gave him a few tips. I didn’t mention who I was, because not everyone is a fan of FT mods.
