Yeah so United charges for luggage, better seats and snack boxes. Most of us avoid those through one way or another and going by the price of now, and not 20 years ago, Southwest is priced higher than United for most of my needs. I can pick a reasonable fare when I want to go instead of having to go at 4AM or 10PM to get the lowest fare on Southwest.
