I don’t think there is a competition. Rather some countries are introducing controls; UK is not. Compare and contrast etc. More importantly, read. It seems seems the concerns are around hypothetical new variants coming out of China. I hope it is pointless. Omicron has, so far, proved to be the gift from your preferred god. Let’s not forget gods can be mercurial buggers.
