Does anyone on this forum know why 272 (SAN - LHR) has been re-routed to stop for 1 hour in LAX both tonight and tomorrow night according to BA website? Last night's flight was also listed as re-routed via LAX earlier in the day but actually operated non-stop as usual. Incoming flight today (273) is on time. As an additional twist, JL 65 (SAN -NRT) was diverted to LAX both yesterday and today on way to NRT according to Flightaware. Trying to figure this out for some holiday visitors who are scheduled to leave tomorrow on 272, connecting in LHR to a European airport. Thanks in advance for your help.
