You usually can tell within a a minute if the agent actually knows what they are doing and is going to be able to help you or not. I would recommend for everyone to keep calling until you find a CSR willing to extend the certificates. They clearly can go beyond the two weeks and even beyond one month. I regret not asking for a later date. Now if I could only get my IHG certificates extended.....
Do you remember which number you called? Trying to extend 2 of mine to the first weekend of February.

I’ve been calling the Diamond desk and have been given 3 different answers. First call offered only 2 weeks extension but no more. Second call one cert could be extended for 2 weeks but not the other one because it had already been extended once during the “blanket extensions” during bc of Covid. The third call was just a flat out “no not happening”.

I’ll keep trying back during different hours of the day, but not feeling hopeful right now.
