Yea I wish this was the case. With 4 days left in the year we are at 71k on our platinum and unlikely to make the threshold. If you combined spend with our Gold that we use for restaurants and groceries we would have over 100k spend combined. I should have moved some spend over, but it's hard to give up the 4x points on the gold card spend. Oh well, we only have the one platinum (wife, daughter, and one son are Plat AU golds) so would still be two people short for lounge access.
