Very pleased to report that a new, larger Plaza Premium lounge has opened in Jakarta, replacing the previously much smaller and very stuffy Plaza Premium Lounge. The new lounge is located near gate 7, so the location is a lot more favourable compared to the previous one (it's now nearer to the widebody gates), and feels much cooler temperature-wise compared to the old lounge. The food selection is still very limited and mediocre, though.

There appears to be a Plaza Premium First section that's yet to be opened. I wonder if CX would eventually send DMs/OWEs there when it opens.

Plaza Premium CGK Showers

This probably is the nicest lounge to be available in CGK for years. There is now an actual, manned shower area that looks inviting and the build and design quality of the entire lounge is on par with other major PP Lounges in Asia (KUL, HKG, etc). I'm very impressed.
