i know amex reimburse meals, hotels, etc costs

but will amex reimburse a new flight ticket cost if the alternate flight you are being placed by the airline (after missing a connection due to delay in incoming flight) is not workable?

for example. xxx-yyy-zzz. the next flight to zzz is not until tomorrow morning but you need to be at zzz the same evening. there are other flights heading to zzz but belong to different airline alliance
