you need to call.
if you paid cash, the agent can usually confirm immediately. If you used points, the agent will need to contact the hotel and the suite will be blocked internally.
if cash, you will receive an updated reservation confirmation showing the suite, but if with points the original room will show and probably only in the remarks section a comment regarding the TSU.
