Hi all. I have an AmEx Plat and haven't used the TSA Pre-Check / Global Entry statement credit. Since I still have TSA Pre-Check (and Global Entry) membership, I wanted to buy TSA Pre-Check for my dad.

Just confirming that the statement credit would be applied even if the TSA Pre-Check membership is for someone who is not the cardholder, yes? AmEx customer service seemed to say the credit would apply (when I subtly asked about this) but I wanted to confirm with the FT community here - thanks!
