Thanks a lot for the clarification. This matches with what Flying for Fun says - cancellation within 24 hours the booking fee is refunded (but one may need to call? I dont know if it is automatic or not.).
Also booking errored out, i.e. phantom seats, there is no charge to the payment card.



6 segments were a lot for a one-way even with stopover at HKG. Good for you to have a much direct routing.

Did you initially book a multi-city online or you called to book from the beginning and then later changed it to a better routing with an agent?

Right now I cannot make any multi-city with HKG stopover working. On each route, both TPAC and the segment after HKG are available if booked separately - though since I have not gone thru the booking esp the TPAC part I dont know if they are phantom or not.
